Easy on the ear, yet full of really good music!

As you can tell by most of the other reviews, if you like the title track you'll like the rest. And therein lies my main issue with this album; it's all a bit samey. All the songs are three minutes long and they all sound like all the other songs. A good album, but definitely not a 5 star one.

This guy has one of the most unique voices I've heard in a very long time and it's great to have someone not "pop polished" but with just raw talent and a voice that gives you chills. It's an amazing album! Will definitely be watching this guy in the future. Highly recommended
  • Amazing album

I wasn't sure about Human when I first heard it but it grew on me. I thought I'd check out the album and to be honest didn't have any great expectations. So many albums nowadays seem to have one good song and that's it. This is absolutely not the case here. From the thundering opening of Human to the mellow closing of Healed, this is an amazing album. I love the switch between the blues, rap, even dance in some of the songs. Highlights for me are Your Way or the Rope, Arrow, Skin, As You Are and Love You Any Less but I could just as easy list them all. If you are wondering if it's worth the money - I promise you it is! Thank you Rag n Bone Man for restoring my faith in music :)
  • A must buy album

Every song is good, very few albums you can listen to every song. But this one you can. Has a bit of everything, slow, uptempo and is put together well. You will keep going back to it!

  • Disappointing

As much as I love Rory and his voice I think this album (apart from "Human") lost the rawness of his EP. I haven't checked it yet, but I wonder if he had the same producers as Sam Smith, because some of the songs, especially "As You Are" sound like they were taken from his album. Why do record labels always push artists to create more commercial music? Does it always have to be about money? It's so frustrating to see someone so talented becoming another generic and forgettable artist! Do we need another Sam Smith? The answer is, No! So please, please Rory, don't let the money to destroy your talent!
