The stand out songs for me are "Show Me How To Live", "Gasoline", "Like A Stone", "I Am The Highway", "Hypnotize" and "Getaway Car". But Chris Cornell's voice is so lovely to listen to that the album as a whole is easy on the ears.
  • BUY IT!!!!

You only need to listen to Gasoline at full tilt and you'll be hooked. This album is SUPERB!!!

Chris Cornell with the guys from RATM is just perfect! I'm not much of a Soundgarden or RATM fan but, this combination is just great!
  • Audioslave's finest hour.

This album is timeless, unique and brilliant. Audioslave excelled in the studio where Chris Cornell's lackluster persona was not exposed. Instead, his incredible and dramatic vocals and lyrics are carried in perfect balance by the musical excellence of Tim, Brad and Tom. The supergroup did not disappoint with this debut album and only lived up to it with fleeting moments further down the line. It may not have exploded on to the scene like Rage Against The Machine's debut did - but it's place in rock history is just as strong.
  • One of the best albums ever made.

Most of my music gets boring after a while - I still like it but don't get the urge to listen anymore, this album however I have been listening to since 2007 and hasn't got boring yet!
  • Beautiful.

I will never grow tired of their albums, having listened to almost every track from all three albums for what is around 5 years now. Sad that they broke up so long ago, though :(( could have used just one more album...
  • One of the best albums ever made.

From the truly amazing voice of Chris's voice, to the guitar riffs/solos, to the pounding bass lines and hard drumming. I love this album. Every song could have been a potential single. Cochise isn't even the best song on the album as many people think!
  • It's ok....

The song writing isn't great, and RATM aren't as good musicians as soundgarden, but it's not bad. It'd be better with Kim Thayil in the mix, he wrote all the best soundgarden tracks, so he'd make this good.
